Jonathan Oldman

Jonathan has worked in a variety of senior roles in the not for profit and public sectors for over 20 years, leading organizational change and transformation to achieve improved housing, health, and social outcomes for a variety of vulnerable and at-risk communities.
Most recently Jonathan was a member of the national executive team, and regional lead for the BC and Yukon, at the Canadian Cancer Society, one of the country’s leading health charities. Before this he was Executive Director of The Bloom Group, one of Vancouver’s most diverse and respected social housing and community service agencies. He began his career in the UK’s National Health Service before moving to Canada. Jonathan has an MA in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University, and is Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (Canada).
Outside of work and volunteering, Jonathan is dad to twin teenagers, which other than an occasional ski and bike ride, pretty much takes up all his remaining time and energy, but brings great joy and pride.

"I’m proud to help the Catalyst team fulfill such a critical role in the social real estate ecosystem, enabling local communities achieve livability and affordability in today’s challenging environment."
