Catalyst is working with UNITI – a partnership between Semiahmoo House Society, the Semiahmoo Foundation and Peninsula Estates Housing Society – as a development manager, to undertake a portfolio review and business plan for a comprehensive master plan of its existing affordable housing community located in Surrey, BC. Phase 1 (of 5) of the project features:
- Construction of a 6-storey residential apartment building
- 91 rental homes
- Relocation plan for all existing tenants, including the right of first refusal to return to the completed project at existing rents
- Relocation of the existing Semiahmoo Trail to the eastern perimeter of the site
