Catalyst is working with Semiahmoo House Society, a long-established not-for-profit that supports people with developmental disabilities, to create a 71 home affordable and inclusive rental apartment building in South Surrey. After completing a detailed feasibility study for the Society, Catalyst has been supporting them through the rezoning, financing, funding and development process. The project will include approximately 20 homes for people with developmental disabilities including 10 homes offered on a pre-paid 60 year lease arrangement. The remaining 51 homes will be occupied by a broad selection of South Surrey/White Rock residents seeking attractive, safe and inspiring homes at below market rents. Construction has commenced.
